Assessment: After discussing with clients their unique needs, outplacement consultants administer a Personalized Career Assessment tailored to the client’s profession, as well as a series of personality tests including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Strong Campbell Interest Inventory, and the Comprehensive Occupational Preference System (COPS). |

| 2- | Skill Discovery: With an Outplacement Consultant’s assistance, clients will review, analyze and interpret the results of their Personalized Career Assessments and additional testing to isolate their strengths and focus their job searches. They will also develop strategies for identifying and building upon their network of contacts. |

| 3- | Skills at Work: During this phase, clients identify obstacles in their job searches (e.g. low morale & motivation) and strategize with their Outplacement Consultant about methods for overcoming barriers. They will learn how to harness their network to discover opportunities in the hidden job market, and develop a personalized marketing plan to optimally position themselves for the roles they desire. |

| 4- | Due Diligence: This action-oriented phase involves working with an Outplacement Consultant to implement the strategies developed in Phases 2 & 3, providing opportunities for resolution of emergent motivational barriers, and ongoing refinement of clients’ personal networking and marketing plans. Our Outplacement Consultants will identify key recruiters for clients to target in their job searches, and post their professional resumes on top Canadian job boards including Hireimpact.ca, Workopolis.com, Careerbuilder.ca, and Monster.ca. |

Other potential topics include identification of education requirements for targeted positions, assessment of market challenges for clients’ desired fields, coping techniques to help clients manage the stress of job loss, idea generation and mind-mapping for job searching, and visioning exercises. |

Clients will also receive “laser” coaching sessions with their Outplacement Consultant to work on time-sensitive issues, celebrate successes, and discuss other specific concerns. All clients will receive a Coaching Package of career resources including a Transition Brochure with resources to help them navigate the job search process. Since over 90% of our clients find new positions in less time than the industry standard, we are confident that this approach will help clients transform their goals into action to produce positive results in terms of job attainment and career satisfaction. |

Throughout the career transition coaching process, Outplacement Consultants will compile a binder of documents summarizing key ideas, challenges, and outcomes emerging from each session, which can be utilized for the client’s individual reference. The binder also encompasses all resources obtained and developed through other Outplacement services, such as documents from the Coaching Package, the client’s personalized marketing collateral, and 20 hard copies of their customized resume along with a CD containing Microsoft Word and PDF versions. Clients can draw upon these resources to track their own personal development through outplacement services, and collaborate with their Outplacement Consultant to determine and document next steps, areas for improvement, and job search resources and strategies consonant with their specific industries and goals. |
